Zahn van Wyk

After completion of her professional exams, articles and time as Audit Manager at a Cape Town based audit firm from 2008 to 2014, Zahn decided to gain experience outside of practice by taking on the Financial Manager role at a large Cape Town based fund manager group. At the same time, as a value adding service, she established VWK Chartered Accountants in order to provide additional services to their client base. The firm grew rapidly over time and her passion for public practice and working closely with and adding value to clients’ businesses and individual matters from an advisory point of view, led to her pursuing the firm full time.

Zahn serves as the managing director and active services delivery and client relations partner. She believes that she has gained invaluable skills and experience over the years to provide a unique client-orientated and personalised service. She is also passionate about human resource and client relations development and creating a unique environment for employees to thrive in. Adding to her passion for social welfare, she is also responsible for driving forward our welfare footprint as the Managing Director of VWK Cares NPC.

Christo van Wyk

After completion of his professional exams and articles at Cape Town based audit firms from 2010 to 2014, Christo decided to gain experience in private practice by taking on the role of Financial Manager of a large construction group of companies. In a short time, he was appointed as Financial Director. After a few years in this role, he decided to pursue his passion for consulting by joining the firm full time.

Christo is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company. He drives the firm’s financial management advisory services, providing clients with high-level input to ensure that their finance function is geared for success. He is passionate about human resource development and providing an environment where continuous innovation and improvement are encouraged.

Aalita Manilall

At a young age, Aalita developed a great passion for accounting. She then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at Regent Business School in Durban. After completion of her degree, she relocated to Cape Town in 2017 where she joined a Cape Town based firm. After completing her SAIPA articles, she took on the role of Senior Accountant at the firm. At the same time, she had developed effective client working relationships, which became a valuable addition to her career. She joined VWK Chartered Accountants in 2022 to further develop her passion for practice and her aspirations.

Aalita is appointed as a senior accountant at VWK Chartered Accountants. She is actively involved in and passionate about facilitating healthy client relationships and providing the highest quality of client services.
